Teamwork plays an integral role in the management and coordination of client care.  It enables us to deliver the highest quality, most cost effective care, and it facilitates timely and constructive communication.
 
The WellsBrooke staff is composed of nurses, coordinators and management professionals with over 50 years of cumulative experience.  Each is dedicated to upholding the WellsBrooke Mission:  “Devoting exceptional attention to detail and supplying personal, compassionate care.”

  • Cheryl Nagel, President

    A true pioneer of WellsBrooke, Cheryl was instrumental in building the company from the ground up.   In 2014, we celebrate the 16th year of her hard work and dedication.  Although she is best known for her compassion and concern for others, Cheryl’s impressive resume spans a broad spectrum of experience.  For more than twenty years, she has served as a nurse in a variety of settings, including hospitals, nursing homes and home health care.  Most of all, Cheryl is a caregiver at heart.
    “Helping someone to be able to heal and stay in their own home setting gives me great pleasure.  That is truly why I love home care!”

  • Janice Carter, Director of WellsBrooke – Ohio

    Janice built the WellsBrooke – Ohio branch office from concept to reality and it’s now a busy, successful operation.  She obtained her nurse’s aide certification in the state of Ohio and, over the past twenty-five years, has cared for both elderly and pediatric patients.  Janice is the first to lend a hand or to visit a patient in need; all proof of her kindheartedness.  Janice now oversees the day-to-day operations of our Perrysburg location.  Involved in the community, she participates in a variety of events and utilizes her natural marketing skills for business development.  She is a lifelong resident of Wayne, OH, where she cherishes Sunday dinners with her tightly-knit family and dotes on her five grandchildren.

  • Meganne Fabian, Director of Care Management

    It’s safe to say that Meganne has her hands in just about every aspect of WellsBrooke’s business functions.  As Operations Manager, Meganne oversees all in-house scheduling and staffing, manages client files and coordinates patient care.  When calling in regards to services or clients, you can be assured that you’ll get a friendly personality on the other end of the phone and that the process will be thorough from beginning to end.  In her spare time, Meganne loves hanging out with her furry friends and is usually planning her next home improvement project.

  • Christy Lenaghan, HR Manager

    Christy has recently made the transition from Community Liaison to HR Manager and has really enjoyed her new role. With her extensive back ground in training she has helped to streamline our new hiring process and has begun monthly training sessions with our office staff. Christy loves the compassion of our WellsBrooke team – “I find it very rewarding to be a part of such a great team whose ultimate goal is to help people get well and keep them in their homes!” When Christy is not in the office you’ll probably find her on the sidelines with her husband at her daughter’s soccer games…go Chiefs! She also loves to spend time doing anything outdoors and with her family.

  • Recruitment and Training Department

    The focus of the Recruitment and Training Department is to attract and maintain a large pool of qualified aides, nurses and other skilled medical professionals, as well as to offer ongoing training for continuing education.  The WellsBrooke recruiting team takes great pride in the fact that they carefully and thoroughly screen all candidates before placing them in clients’ homes.   They are dedicated to hiring only the most qualified and caring staff.  The hiring process entails finding, interviewing and training new employees, processing all the employment paperwork necessary to manage quality personnel in a professional manner.  In addition, our growing training program incentivizes WellsBrooke staff to increase their knowledge while raising the quality of care they deliver.

     

  • Staffing Department

    WellsBrooke Staffing Coordinators handle all aspects of creating and maintaining employee work schedules for every client.  They also ensure that each of our staff members is prepared for their assignment.   Furthermore, coordinators make certain that clients are apprised of any staffing changes, thereby enabling them to live as normal a life as possible and helping their days and appointments to flow smoothly.  Excellent ongoing communication with our field employees is a vital part of the staffing coordinators’ responsibility.
